Casual day and a perky attitude on a Friday work day. I found this awesome top at Kohl's which is part of the Jennifer Lopez new collection. Necklace is from Aldo Accessories and the booties are Aldo (currently similar styles in closed toe). For night time a nice pair of heels will work as well.

I realized I have not been using my Soleil Tan De Chanel bronzing base correctly. I kept using it over tinted moisturizer and since it was mighty dark it would NOT show through. Finally not sure what made me (but am glad I did). I decided to try it with no make up underneath and used it as an all over the face bronzer " Tada" worked and looks amazing!

OPI 'Touring America'

It is expensive to be a female!!! But I would not change it for anything is this world. :)... This week I have gone completely insane by shopping for Jewelry, make-up, nail polish and hair essentials. If I add everything up it is quite disappointing the amount of money I spent, but these items psychologically make me feel better. So, Today I got my hair darkened and my hair dresser took me to get the color with her, of course while we were there I walked around(bad idea) and bought other unnecessary things (ie. nail polish, shampoo, conditioner and hair treatment) when you have your cosmetology license there are some perks since many things can be purchased at 50% retail price!!!! That's totally a bargain for me, considering that when I am shopping I always pay full price for stuff.

* I needed to replace my #1 fall/winter color nail polish (lincoln park after dark) This color will never get old for me. It is the absolute best purple-ish/black color that matches everything in your wardrobe

*2 Since I have really soft nails many treatments I have previously tried do not work. SO Sam(hairdresser) suggested for me to try the O.P.I Ridge filler to help as a base and a hardener. I hope this works!! lol

*3 Seche Vite which I have seen being used in many blogs as a favorite fast drying top coat. While I was darkening my hair I started my nails and I must admit "I am not sure why I did not try this sooner"

Now, from the new O.P.I fall collection of 'Touring America' I grabbed 3 of their new colors (50% off retail price) * ;) *

4"10 love fashion, yet a size 8

Today was not a great day. I have always been such an optimistic person and see the light at the end of each tunnel, yet today was not one of those days. I will take this time to speak from the heart and for people to know who I truely am deep down. Behind all the glitz and glam, I am 4"10 and weight about 145lbs. I try diets, they work and as soon as I stop them all the weight piles back on. For some one who loves fashion as much as I do everything they showed on New York fashion week a size 8/10 will not look the same. Now, must I mention how obssessed I am with Rachel Zoe? Everything she says you should wear, I always make sure to get. If she suggests for someone to buy a "chanel" lipgloss you must run and make sure to own it. This is where a bit of my fustration has come, I stopped buying clothes and instead get makeup. Although I feel make up makes me feel better, my clothes size remains the same. Today is 9/17/2011 by grandmothers 78th birthday, she is mad at me for a few months now because I for once said no to her. I miss her and hope she lives many more years, shes an awesome person and I wish to have all the strength and energy she has once I reach her age. Maybe a month from now, three months or even a year from now I can eventually have some followers that make me feel special. On that note, this is a negative me(she does not come around very often).

All women wear heels?

So yesterday I was having a conversation with one of my co-worker's and she mentioned going to an out door get together and she threw heels on!? I was listening... She proceeded to mention that one of her friend said: "why are you always in heels" co- worker: " You are a GIRL and all girls should wear heels!". I chuckled a bit and said, " I don't mind being in heels when I am out with my friends, but at work when we have to do 8-10hrs on our feet I LOVE to be comfortable." Once I got home it totally blew my mind that some girls have that kink of mentality.

Reasons for wearing high heels, which are almost exclusively aesthetic reasons, include:

They change the angle of the foot with respect to the lower leg, which accentuates the appearance of calves.
They change the wearer's posture, requiring a more upright carriage and altering the gait in what is considered a seductive fashion.
They make the wearer appear taller.
They make the legs appear longer.
They make the foot appear smaller.
They may help shorter people use items that have been designed for those of a normal height, e.g. sit upright with feet on floor on chairs that would otherwise be too high, reach items on shelves, etc.
-Reasons against wearing high heels, which are almost exclusively health and practicality reasons, include:
- They can cause foot pain.
- They increase likelihood of sprains and fractures.
- They make calves look more rigid and sinewy.
- They can create foot deformities, including hammertoes and bunions.(Need surgery)
- They can cause an unsteady gait.
- They can shorten the wearer's stride.
- Altered forces at the knee caused by walking in high heels may predispose to degenerative changes in the knee joint.
- Foot and tendon problems as listed below.
- Women who wear high heels frequently have a higher incidence of degenerative joint disease of the knees. This is because they cause a decrease in the normal rotation of the foot, which puts more rotation stress on the knee.

As a women I love SHOES!!! I absolutely do, but as much as I love them I love comfort. So, when I have to wear the heels I definitely have a wide selection(heels,wedges,flats, high, mid, low etc.). Although, if you stop by to visit you will definitely see me in my 4'10 frame. Tell me your thoughts on heels, do you always/never wear them? And what are some tricks aside from insoles, insteps etc. do you use to make them comfortable?

Manicure must haves

Today I went to 3 different stores looking for a new "green" nail polish. I did not think it would be so difficult to find the right shade. I finally came across an essie color that is deep yet neutral enough to match many things with. The name is power clutch which is like a Khaki green color and I also grabbed glamour purse which is a taupe color very similar to chocolate milk(closest thing I can think of)

mini haul (ready for Fall)

Hi Lovies,

The last couple of days I have been ready for sweaters and boots... I know, I know... "already?" Yes!!! So on Saturday I stopped At H&M and picked up a few things. One of them I needed to take back since it was 100% acrylic which my skin will not be able to bare while at work. The two I kept, am happy with the decision. Today, I was not having such a great day at work so once I was off the clock I walked over to Sephora and contemplated on a couple of things. They have some awesome fall colors "like always" I swatched a velvet lip pencil in baroque and loved it, except I bought similar color from mac instead in "smoked purple" and the Nars purchases were the Oasis blush and Grand palais eye shadow. Please share your thoughts and your latest fall purchases have been.
