Chocolate bar by Tarte
Hi there!
Do you ever wonder if that new eye shadow pallet will be missed in your makeup collection? Does it have the colors you are truly missing? Will it be the one you will gravitate when traveling?
For me, I don't need a reason to buy new makeup, but I have been trying extremely hard not to go straight to the counter or wait in line when a new collection is released. Great example would be the Macs "Marge Simpson" collection. Although I liked the blush colors, I did not see a need.
My most recent purchase which I debated between the Tarte Chocolate Bar and Bobbi Brown's Nude Pallet. Bobbi Brown shadows have plenty of pigment and are extremely buttery smooth on skin, but the price difference is what made me go for the Chocolate bar by Tarte. They both have similar colors, yet the Chocolate bar has more and it smells amazing. As it is infused with real cocoa powder. I have to admit, I am extremely happy with my decision. I did not need another neutrals pallet to my collection since I already own:
Urban decays
Naked 1/2/Basics 1&2
Nars neutrals shadow pallet
Lorac pro
MUG- neutral colors
And so many neutral Mac shadows

She's pampered

I have subscribed to three different subscription boxes including #glossybox, which by far it is my fave out of the three!
In this month box of goodies, I received Essie's "she's pampered" nail polish. It immediately called my attention.
Today I decided to change polishes, from a hunter gray green color to this beautiful cherry red. After applying the first coat I could have stopped there as the color has great pay off. It looks pinkish red on the first coat, then continued to apply the second coat and love it as much as my Opi's "vodka and caviar" color.
Red is such a powerful color, that it makes me feel good, empowered, and sexy. Whether it's on my nails, or lips red can be a signature color of mine. Although not many like seeing this color on others, let's bring sexy back!
