Addicted to Bobbi

Helllooorrr

As I am traveling, I have come across a few pictures on my camera roll and noticed that I have a few pieces I have not blogged about.

Bobbi Brown being one of them.

The obession started two years ago while I still lived in New York.  I was mainly looking to purchase the Ben and Nie banana powder, but the thought of shopping online made me cringe.  So instead I picked up the dual concealer and yellow powder in honey, and also managed to add the hydrating eye lotion that day as well.

My second small purchase was at Sephora with the eye liner brush and jet black gel paint pot.  Absolutely fell in love with the application and intensity.  Totally smudge proof!  Made me think:  wow, 3/3 and am happy.  Should I invest in other items from this brand?.

Well, that did not take long.  I have returned to both Sephora and Nordstrom to buy a blush, the bronze shimmer brick, two eye shadows and a lip glass..  Did I mention I LOVE the gloss?!?  No?!?!  Well "I do".

I always seem to fall in love with luxury packaging and dislike the product.  This is not the case.  The gloss has enough lasting power, it's not super sticky and weightless.

Ladies,  If there is a new brand you are looking to spend your bucks on, I tell you I strongly recommend SeƱora Bobbi!

Spring beauty haul

Hello lovies,

Trying out a few new items I picked up from both sephora (my favorite beauty store!) and target for the daily essentials.

My hair has been loving the scent to this Fructis damage eraser.  The blends of fruits and florals mixed drives my senses to another level!  That's not the only benefit to this product though.  After using it a couple of times, my hair feels alive and the curls tend to be more defined.  Now,  this also has been due to the blend of this deep conditioner and a few new products that I will most definitely be repurchasing.

One of these items being bumble and bumble surf spray.  This small bottle has a lot of power. True meaning of great things come in small packages!   There is very minimal scent but helps the curly locks to have a nice "I just left the beach" look.

One more new item I have been applying right after the shower has been the Agave oil.  Now, this treatment smells "amazing"!!! If I could describe the scent I would totally not give it justice.  But you ladies are more than welcome to stop into the closest Sephora and fall in love yourselves.

Soon enough I will be traveling to my home town and seeing my favorite girl Sam to get these beautiful locks a face lift.  Whether I decide to go lighter or keep color the same, once I sit on that salon chair I will decide.  The caramel low lights have now changed tone, but I also need a hair cut.  Last time it was done was in November of 2013.  "Hello"!?!?! Six months later these poor ends need some snipping. Good thing is, I have been using cold water to rinse and a terry cloth/Tshirt to dry after washes.  Which I have noticed the extra shedding has calmed down because of it.

Alright ladies, that is all I have for you all today.  Let me know if there are any other pieces you would like in detail reviews on.

Caribbean blue

Hello lovies,

After having pointy nails and always aiming for neutrals, every shade of pink and corals I decided some thing new.  Shortened my nails and went back to a soft squared nail and a Caribbean blue. By Essie (can not remember the name. Might be "I'm addicted").

Let me tell you, I can not stop staring at my hands!!   My wife loves them as well, she said "that's a different color for you". Which it is.  It's true!

The last time I wore a color like so was for my senior prom over a decade ago! ;). I wore a sky blue dress, which was extremely long on me and I chose the highest heels to wear with it, since I did not want to spend extra money to hem the dress.  Haha!! To be young again.
My nails matched my dress with white and silver flowers in them.  I even remember going to the tanning bed to make the colors look even better against my complexion.

Today, this color reminds me of the beautiful white Caribbean sand and crystal clear blue ocean.  Work has been very hectic lately (in a good way) but this color reminds me to book the honey moon wifey and I have yet to take, so we can sip on some rum and coke while toasting the amaze balls out of our skin, hair and lips(less lipstick but add on the chapsticks) !!! Haha!!!

What's your favorite Caribbean island to visit?
